Our client, a leading independent pensions consultancy, is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pensions professional to join their Projects and Data team as a Senior Administration Consulting Analyst. In this role, you’ll support the delivery and implementation of impactful pensions administration projects for both existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with pensions administration client teams across the country to analyse requirements, determine project scope, and ensure successful delivery in line with client expectations.
  • Manage and deliver assigned pensions administration services and projects for a diverse portfolio of TPA client projects.
  • Serve as a point of reference for non-standard project cases, providing expertise and guidance.
  • Assist in acquiring new project and bespoke client administration work.
  • Complete tasks within project plan timescales, ensuring continuous improvement in delivery quality and monitoring time spent to ensure project profitability.
  • Contribute to and adhere to the firm’s professional standards, quality systems, and information security policies.
  • Draft and review project reports, presenting results and recommendations to colleagues and clients.

 Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge:

  • Extensive experience in pensions operations and administration in the UK.
  • In-depth knowledge of legislation related to both DB and DC pension arrangements.
  • Proficiency in data cleansing, rectification exercises, and complex calculations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities are essential.
  • Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and strong skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and various Pension Administration Systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • First-class organisational skills and experience managing projects to deadlines, high-quality standards, scope, and cost.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, colleagues, and peers successfully, and effectively present complex findings to scheme trustees and non-technical audiences.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and solving problems creatively.
  • A proactive self-starter who enjoys working autonomously.
  • Comfortable working with teams virtually and remotely.
